Teen Grappling
Grappling is a load of fun, especially when the smaller student realizes that he/she can actually learn to control a larger and stronger opponent! Teenagers love the challenging aspect of grappling, because it helps improve self-confidence by providing a taste of reality without the price of injury.
As with all children's programs, It is the goal of Yama-Kan Kajukenbo to create an environment that provides the opportunity to:

- DEVELOP problem solving skills, to concentrate and to think creatively.
- LEARN to be responsible for their own actions.
- LEARN to act independently and with confidence.
- LEARN to interact comfortably and happily with peers and adults outside of the family.
